So if you've been paying attention so far, which you should have been, you might remember I mentioned interesting little things called S-Cells. Well they are pretty damn important, and thus worth more than just an honorable mention in the prior page, because there is a lot more to the things than just passifying diseases and making him Superman levels of damage resistant.
See, back in the land before time, S-Cells were still majorly experimental, in that they were developed particularly for operative Lone Wolf's use and weren't at all in use prior to him coming along. This meant they came with a pretty big suite of malfunctions and odd tweaks, as any new tech prototype does. The primary issue with the damn things were that they were just too damn hard to control and maintain properly, because the growth of the cells could only be maintained -at first- by a mixture of will and mental command, but that isn't how it tended to go down. On more than one occasion they went haywire, turning him into a chrome plated, malformed killing machine. While not really a bad thing, given his occupation, it's generally a no-go for top secret black op splinter cells to lose their shit and go on killing sprees, so as usual, Argus had some tweaking to do. But as you may or may not know, Argus is never quite satisfied with just making their products store-ready, but going well above and beyond.
As I said, turning Gun into an even beefier killing machine wasn't really a bad thing as far as Templar and Argus was concerned, so to that end, they'd aspire to make their killing machine a controllable one. Or as 'controllable' as someone with a temperment like Gun's is. Introducing Se.Ra.Ph.(See page: Se.Ra.Ph.) to the concoction was the best option, a the AI could easily maintain all of Gun's and its own functions, particularly the growth and death of his S-Cells. Because of this, with a mixture of no small amount of psychic interference, Gun can freely control the S-Cells growth, which can be triggered into overdrive at the introduction o copious amounts of Negative.
The result was that Gun could coat himself in a second, psychoresponsive 'skin' that doubled as an even beefier second layer of armor, though of course that isn't all. I told you Argus loves to go above and beyond, right? Yeah well with some tweaking in the form of nano-digital sensory relays, the helm of this suit of armor is capable of being uplinked with all of the Earth Sphere's comm and visual systems, adding a boon to his already near ineffable level of reconaissance capability.
But wait! There's more!
The S-Cells, courtesy of Animus via a personal request, when exposed to open oxygen exude a shimmering metameterial capable of being psychically controlled, that pools ferromagnetic material from the surroundings to create various machines and metal-based constructs on command. The metameterial can be vented from exhaust ports over Earth Breaker as well as a secondary propulsion device. Beyond this, the suit is also capable of generating biomechanical electromagnetic currents around it powerful enough to deflect low-level energy-based strikes, turning what remaining energy into harmless radiation to be split around the user.
